Steep Spiral

  1. Clearing turn
  2. 5000 MSL
  3. do not exceed 60* bank power off 25 MP
  4. 70 – 80 KT

Chandells

  1. clearing turn
  2. open cowl flaps
  3. 2500 MSL (1500 AGL) 25 MP 25 RPM
  4. VA entry speed

Lazy Eights

  1. clearing turn
  2. open cowl flaps
  3. 3000 MSL (1500 AGL) 18 MP 25 RPM

Eights on Pylons

  1. clearing turns

180 Power Off Accuracy Landing

  1. position on downwind
  2. not more than 1000′ AGL (1937 MSL)
  3. GUMPS
  4. touchdown within 200′ of specified touchdown point

Short Field Takeoff and Landing

  1. 0 degrees flaps
  2. Vx till obstacle cleared Vy after obstacle cleared

Soft Field Takeoff and Landing

  1. 10 degrees flaps
  2. don’t slow down
  3. lift nose wheel asap
  4. on landing – maintain power so as not to bog down
