All Pilot Knowledge test are administered through PSI/Cats.
You can schedule online with PSI at https://faa.psiexams.com/faa/login or by calling then at 1-800-211-2754 then menu #2(professional tests) then ask the operator for FAA or leave a message for FAA and you will receive a return call within 24hrs.
To find a testing center near you, go to https://faa.psiexams.com/faa/login then put in your postal code and the exam you are wanting to take. We suggest going to Purdue Aviation or Tom Wood Aviation.”
Required information to sign up for test:
- Your Birthdate to setup you student ID with operator.
- Desired location of testing:
- Desired week day date 9am-noon to start the 2.5hr testing. PSI needs 24hr notice to reschedule or you are charged for the no show.
- Credit card information for the charge.
For the computer based 60 multiple question test you are provided pencil, calculator, scratch paper, reference book for problems. You are allowed to bring your plotter and manual or electronic flight computer.
