Purdue Aviation Day (PAD) is an open access event welcome to community members, prospective students, industry partners, and aviation enthusiasts alike. The event focuses on sharing the passion of aviation through static aircraft displays, educational events, historic displays, guest speakers, and children's activities. What makes this event special is that it is planned and executed entirely by student leaders within the School of Aviation & Transportation!

Join us for our 3rd annual pancake breakfast fly-in. $5 for pancake, sausage and juice or coffee. Come out enjoy breakfast surrounded by various aircraft types from WWII trainers to ultralights and everything in between on display.

Westfield Airport Appreciation Day
Join us for our annual Airport Appreciation Day. Italian Sausage/Onion/Pepper or Hot Dog with chips and a drink will be $7 with kids under 7 being $5. There will be all types of airplanes on display from WWII trainers to ultralights. Come out and enjoy a family fun event!
Find out more »The 29th Annual Fly/In Cruise/In
The 29th Annual Fly/In Cruise/In will be held Saturday, August 31st, 2019 at the Marion, Indiana Municipal Airport (MZZ). The action starts early at 7:00am and runs until 2:00pm. This annual event features antique, classic, homebuilt, ultralight, rotorcraft and warbird aircraft as well as vintage cars, trucks, motorcycles, fire trucks, autocycles, military vehicles and tractors. An all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast is served. All proceeds from the Fly/In Cruise/In benefit the Grant County Rescue Mission here in Marion, Indiana

2019 Air and Space Expo:
Grissom Air Force Base will host the 2019 Air and Space Expo September 7-8, 2019. It has been 15 years since the base hosted it’s last air show and plans to headline this years show with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. The Thunderbirds are the Air Force’s premier aerial demonstration team and they will be joined by other military and civilian aviation acts for this two-day event. Join us for our Annual event supporting SMA. All proceeds will go toward family who are living with SMA in their loved ones. This will help provide crucial care needed. Rides in GA (General Aircraft such as 172's) will be available for purchase. Also rides in WWII trainers will be available for purchase as well. Other family centered activities will be available along with various airplanes on display to look at. Food also will be available for purchase.
