To complete spin training, a candidate must receive ground training in stall awareness, spin entry, spins, and spin recovery procedures. They must also practice entering spins and applying spin recovery procedures. Once the candidate is competent and possesses instructional proficiency in stall awareness, spin entry, spins, and spin recovery procedures, the Certified Flight Instructor will award the candidate the spin training endorsement.
