SUMMARY:2019 Air and Space Expo:
DESCRIPTION:Grissom Air Force Base will host the 2019 Air and Space Expo September 7-8\, 2019. It has been 15 years since the base hosted it’s last air show and plans to headline this years show with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. The Thunderbirds are the Air Force’s premier aerial demonstration team and they will be joined by other military and civilian aviation acts for this two-day event. This event will be the first air show type event held at Grissom Air Force Base since 2003\, and will be free and open to the public. The last air show put on by the base brought out about 60\,000 people per day and officials plan on about the same number this time so make sure you come out early and find a good spot. Grissom Air Museum will be opened during this two day event for people to stop by and take a look at us so mark your calendars and make sure to come out to the 2019 Air and Space Expo put on by the Grissom Air Force Base and thank you for preserving the can do legacy!
